The Kusaka Katana is a high-level Japanese samurai sword, handmade with a clay-tempered 1060 steel blade and a stunning tōran-midare hamon. Perfectly balanced, it’s the ideal choice for those in the UK looking to buy a real katana for martial arts or collection.
Kusaka Katana – Superior Sharp Katana with Samurai Heritage
The Kusaka Katana pays tribute to the Kusaka clan, a family of samurai remembered for their discipline and loyalty in Japan’s feudal history. Stories tell of their dedication to both martial skill and cultural refinement, values that inspired the creation of this katana: powerful, elegant, and steeped in tradition.
Forged for practitioners and collectors, the Kusaka Katana features a maru kitae blade with bohi, made of 1060 high carbon steel. Clay tempered and hand polished, the blade reveals a strikingly visible tōran-midare hamon, a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship. Fully functional and full tang, it is designed for Tameshigiri, Battodo, Kenjutsu, and Ninjutsu, while also serving as an impressive centrepiece for any collection.
