The placement of an order on our website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Price and availability are subject to change without prior notice. 
All goods will remain the sole property of katanamart.co.uk until payment is received in full.

All products and service are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. If an ordered product cannot be supplied for any reason we will offer an alternative model (if available) or give a full refund. We are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction.

Products

Katanamart.co.uk have made every effort to ensure that all product information held on this website is accurate. 

a) Many of our products (Katana swords/Iaito swords and bokkens) are handmade, that’s why the real weight could differ  +/-6% from the weight specified on the data sheet and the length can differ +/-2% from the length specified on the data sheet

b) The products are exactly as shown on the pictures. The photos are taken in a professional studio and are not adjusted in Photoshop


Age Restrictions

English Law forbids katanamart.co.uk to sell anything deemed to be a weapon - such as a sword, axe or dagger to anybody under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 we will not process your order.

We take our obligation to uphold this law seriously.

If purchasing a weapon from our site you are confirming that you are over 18 years old. In addition to this, purchased weapons may be followed up with the request of a telephone call, to ensure the weapons are not being sold to anyone under the age of 18 years old. If this process is pursued, katanamart.co.uk holds the right to delay the order until the satisfactory circumstances has been met.


Please note: you do not have to be 18 to purchase clothing, armour,  wooden wasters (training swords) LARP Weapons, or anything not deemed a weapon 

STOCK

This website supplies some of its products in stock form, and others to be manufactured. However, an estimated dispatch time is given on each product.

MANY CUSTOM PRODUCTS ARE MADE BY OUR CRAFTSMEN THE MOMENT YOU PLACE THE ORDER, AND IN THIS CASE, THEY MAY HAVE A LONGER DELIVERY TIME THAN NORMAL ORDERS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US ABOUT THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: ALEX@KATANAMART.CO.UK. IN THE EVENT WE CANNOT PROVIDE THE PRODUCT WITHIN THE GIVEN TIMEFRAME, WE WILL INFORM YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND REFUND YOU IN FULL.

SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE EUROPE

The addressee has to pay the shipping cost always. Free shipping promotions are not applied in Countries outside Europe. Moreover, if the client doesn’t like the product he bought and wants to send it back in order to get a refund or change the item within 50 days of receipt, he/she must pay the full cost of return

Ynhswords S.L. will pay the shipping cost only if the product is damaged or if it’s different from the pictures loaded on the website. 

Pricing

We pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible with our prices. If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case we will make you aware of this and a full refund will be given if required.


Payment

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. Thereafter payment is collected through our online credit card processing partners, Paypal.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS, BUT DO USE THE PAYPAL FACILITIES ON THIS WEBSITE.

We accept most major credit and debit cards through our payment gateway Paypal. Credit/debit card payments are taken at point of order on all sales. We also require the cardholder's full details including name, address and telephone number when accepting a credit/debit card payment. These must match the exact details registered with the card issuer. Incomplete or incorrect details will result in a delay in processing your order. In the event we are unable to fulfill an order due to insufficient stock, the customer will be notified of the delay and, should this prove unsuitable, a full refund will be given.

Refunds

A refund can take an estimated 3 working days to be processed and a further 3 working days to clear banking systems. If you have requested a refund on an order, please allow this time scale to pass (after receiving the refund confirmation email) before contacting us to confirm the refunds status. 

Warning: DHL EXPRESS shipping fee won’t be refunded under no circumstances since it’s an extra service required by the client and not included in any promotions.

Security

Every order placed with katanamart.co.uk Online is subject to a security check. These checks are carried out to protect both you and us against fraudulent transactions. Therefore all information entered by you must match the information held by the card issuer. 
Supplying incorrect or incomplete information will result in a delay in processing your order. If we are unable to confirm the identity of a customer we may carry out further security checks that may delay the processing of your order. As the supplier we reserve the right not to supply goods if we are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion to a security check. We may occasionally ask you to fax, post or email further proof of identity. We may on occasion ask the customer to supply their credit/debit card details to carry out a further security check. 

TO PROTECT THE SECURITY OF YOUR CARD FOR INTERNET USE, IT IS HIGHLY  RECOMMENDED THAT YOU SIGN UP TO YOUR CARD ISSUERS 3D SECURECODE  FACILITY. TO REGISTER, PLEASE VISIT VERIFIED BY VISA or MASTERCARD SECURECODE.


Placing an Order

By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying those goods (Including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). All online orders are confirmed as received by sending an auto-generated e-mail. We reserve the right to decline your order. We will contact you by telephone or email regarding delivery, delays or security issues. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other loses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. By purchasing any product or item you are thereby agreeing to these terms and conditions.


Delivery Method

All products are delivered by courier UPS or DPD: the products "IN STOCK" will be delivered in about 3/4 working days from the payment plus the necessary time to prepare the order.

 You can also choose the courier DHL EXPRESS: the products "IN STOCK" will be delivered in 1/2 working days

Orders with products longer than 120 cm can take 2/3 working days more for delivery

Deliveries are generally between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

DURING INTERNATIONAL AND LOCAL HOLIDAY SEASONS (LIKE THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, EASTER, NEW YEAR...) TIME OF DELIVERY MIGHT BE LONGER THAN USUAL

If you are not happy with the items you bought, you have fifty days cooling-off period to return the unwanted products. This begins the day after you receive your goods. The items must still be as new and returned to the address we’ll give you at your cost. You must send pics proving the item is in perfect conditions. You will receive a full refund for the cost of the items returned. This does not apply to custom or made-to-order items. This is in accordance with your statutory rights.

Product Exchanges & Returns – 50 days

Please contact us (alex@katanamart.co.uk) within 50 days after order has been marked as "delivered" according to your tracking number.You always have to send pics of the product you want to return. If your refund/exchange is approved, you will be given an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number), along with instructions to complete your return. Items must be returned in unused, unaltered, and undamaged condition in the original packaging. 

Refund will be made in the same method of payment used to make your purchase.

Faulty Returns

Products delivered which are 'damaged' should be notified within 24 hours from the delivery date and you must provide pics od the damage and a description of the flaws. First you have to send pics of the damages. In this case we will arrange the collection of the goods at our expenses. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either a replacement, a repair or a full refund, providing the item is complete with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you. You will be liable for both the uplift and return carriage charge. This returns policy does not affect the buyer's statutory rights.

Delivery Returns of Orders

Due to a large influx of failed deliveries we will be sending our packages by UPS, DPD and DHL. If the two delivery attempts fail, the package will be sent back to us and in this case we hold the right to re-charge shipping fee as it’s expensive sending those goods out again once they have been returned. Our re-charged payments will typically be made through Paypal and the products will not be re-sent until the second payment is made for the second delivery. 

 

Damage in Transit

If goods arrive in a damaged conditions you must make a note of this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately.


Shortages and In-Correct Goods

If you take delivery of the wrong product please note this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that what they are signing for is indeed being delivered. Shortages must be noted on the courier's delivery consignment note and you must contact us immediately.


Pre-Sales

If you order a product that is out of stock or delayed from the manufacturer we will contact you to make you aware of this when it’s not already specified on the website. The time scales quoted on such products are estimated time scales. If you don’t feel like waiting you can cancel the order and ask for a total refund. 

WARRANTY 2 YEARS SPECIFICATIONS: the manufacturer covers whatever structural damage suffered by the item for two years time. The DAMAGE must be documented by pictures and written details in order for the object to be replaced. If the problem were caused by wear or by a wrong use of the item, it can’t be replaced but it will be evaluated for a certain amount of money, different from case to case. 

Blade damage is guaranteed only if the sword has been used properly; the correct use will be proved by a certificate showing the participation to a Tameshighiri or Battodo course or school recognized in UK or in Europe.

Swords can be disassembled ONLY by experts and authorized people. We don’t respond of the damages caused by clients who disassemble swords without our assistance and authorization.

Exchanges

The seller will always try and MEET THE POLITE AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS’ NEEDS, taking into account also that cases not considered by the manufacturer or by the brand.


Manufactured to order

We do not provide a refund or return policy for any item that is manufactured to order (Customly made) If you have a problem with a manufactured item please contact the sales representative that processed the order.

KATANAMART.CO.UK TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY SUFFERED BY THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. PLEASE USE OUR PRODUCTS RESPONSIBLY,  AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU OR ANYONE USING YOUR ITEMS IS VERSED IN THE ASPECTS OF SAFETY.
